Started off on the big kit, and just about planing. Wind started to pick up and was planing nicely. After about half an hour, was stonking along on starboard tack, when one of my mates (who shall remain nameless) decided to gybe without looking, right in front of me. Needless to say, despite best attempts to avoid a collision, I now have one big f**ker of a hole right through my board where the nose of his board speared the underside of mine and came out six inches in front of the mast track. Typically, the nose of his Xantos didn't have so much as a scratch which is great for him. As a result of all this I am one very, very pissed off bunny and having to spend time working out the best way of fixing the damage - which could be terminal!!!! This entry would have minus stars if they were available. Rant over.
